An Individualized Approach to Chiropractic Care.
I blend several techniques and skills together to care for people in a holistic way. And while that sounds a bit woo-woo (and I can be), it really isn’t. It is simply the acknowledgment that people are more than just physical beings, and that they have rich mental, emotional and spiritual aspects to their lives that need addressing too.
Every body is unique, and so is every life journey….and so to is your care. There are no set schedules here, everyone’s care is bespoke and we create an individualized care path together…..meeting your needs, goals and capacity.
Life has taken me on a windy road through motherhood and as a result I have tailored my work to specifically met women’s needs. Men are welcome by personal referral and I care for many children too, I just have a special interest in women’s bodies and the amazing journeys they take through life.

Intuitive Chiropractic
A physical adjustment combined with an energetic read of your body... pure awareness. I do not do energy work, I don’t put energy in or take it out. I simply feel and see a lot. I put that into words and reflect it back to you for you to do what you want with. Just becoming aware of more provides a perspective shift that gives clarity about what you need to change and do next.

Neuro Emotional Technique
This technique explores the intersection between body, mind & emotion. This is great for looking at the body’s stress responses associated with physical ailments, life experiences and even future desires. In these session we can work with the body, emotions or thoughts, whatever is the most appropriate for you.

Pelvic Floor & Core Assessment
Learn how to support and care for your individual body. I do pelvic floor and core assessments and from there create bespoke movement plans addressing the exact failures in a body system. I check how you are using your pelvic floor, abdominals and breath. Connect it with how you are posturing in daily life and impacting the core system. Note - this is not internal work.

Whole Body Chiropractic Care
These are your regular adjustments Carla style. I usually start at the feet and end at the head. Even though most people have something specific they want me to check, and I do. I still consider the body as a whole system. I work on the premise that the body is interconnected, looking for global patterns of function as well as local issues.

Care of the physical body, SOT focuses on returning the body to its optimal function via balancing the relationship between the sacrum and the occiput (base of the skull). This technique is designed to improve the function of the nervous system, reinstate the relationship between spinal motion and breath, enhance organ function, and support structural integrity.

I have done extra study in natural movement, women’s health, natural posture and biomechanics. This can meet several needs including;
The unique health concerns of women, including pelvic floor dysfunction, pregnancy-related issues, and postpartum recovery.
Designing a “plug in” program for people experiencing repetitive injuries or weakness while they participate in more general movement, for example your happy going to the gym class or Pilates but there is just something not working for your body there….this includes men.
People desiring postural changes, better movement and wanting to increase exercise.
People wanting to overcome their unique health limitations and still achieve health.
